Her educational foundation includes a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling and Theology from The College at Southeastern, along with TESOL/TEFL/ESL certification and ongoing graduate studies in Professional Counseling at Liberty University. This unique combination of theological, counseling, and cross-cultural communication training has shaped her holistic approach to supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds and challenging circumstances.
“My compassion for marginalized and underserved populations has been the common thread in each role, driving my commitment to ensure that people receive not only services but also dignity, respect, and understanding. This unique blend of frontline and organizational expertise allows me to bridge the gap between patients and providers with insight, empathy, and efficiency.”
Callie’s professional journey began with extraordinary international service, where she helped establish and support safe houses for women and men rescued from human trafficking in South Korea, Thailand, and Wales. During this pivotal period from 2010-2016, she provided trauma-informed counseling, addiction recovery support, and cultural integration services while developing comprehensive training programs for staff and volunteers. Returning to the United States, she continued her commitment to serving vulnerable populations through various roles in social work and wraparound services, including developing individualized care plans for underserved youth and families, assisting refugee families with settlement services, and providing healthcare administration support at New Insights Psychology.
Most recently, as an Administrative Assistant at Mercy Multiplied America, Callie supported program directors through comprehensive administrative coordination, including call screening, travel logistics, staff scheduling, and family liaison work. Her experience spans working with diverse demographics including youth in foster care, individuals with special needs, immigrant families, and those experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. Callie’s role at Kind Health leverages her extensive background in both clinical support and administrative excellence, utilizing her exceptional skills in cross-cultural communication, trauma-informed care, and deep understanding of healthcare systems to ensure that every patient receives compassionate, coordinated care that honors their dignity and unique circumstances.
