Grant Young serves as Brand Partnership Manager at Kind Health, bringing over a decade of experience in behavioral health and addiction treatment to his role in building strategic relationships with therapists, businesses, and organizations that may benefit from Kind’s services. His educational background includes coursework at both South Plains College and Howard Payne University, providing him with a foundation that he has built upon through extensive hands-on experience in the behavioral health field. Grant’s career trajectory demonstrates a consistent commitment to helping individuals access the care they need while developing the operational systems that make quality treatment possible.
“I was excited about joining KIND due to the people involved. The mental health space is very important to me because I’m a product of a young man who did not have the appropriate solutions in my life, and with the help of A LOT of people, I made it out on the other side and continue to try and grow and get better. We talk about summiting Mount Everest, and it isn’t the mountain that I’m pumped to climb, it’s my teammates that I’m on the journey with.”
Grant’s professional journey began at Turnbridge in New Haven, Connecticut, where he progressed through multiple roles from Support Staff to Director of Support Staff over six years. Starting as direct support staff in 2012, he built strong interpersonal skills working with clients in early recovery stages before advancing through volunteer coordination and management roles. Since joining Lighthouse Recovery Texas in Dallas in 2022, Grant has demonstrated exceptional growth and leadership capabilities, advancing from Placement Specialist to Director of Admissions and currently serving as Vice President of Growth and Strategic Partnerships, where he oversees growth initiatives across admissions, marketing, and business development.
Grant’s personal connection to mental health recovery drives his professional dedication to expanding access to care. His experience as someone who has navigated his own challenges and found healing through the support of others gives him unique insight into the importance of accessible, quality mental health services. At Kind Health, Grant leverages his expertise in relationship building and strategic partnerships to connect with mental health professionals, corporate wellness programs, and community organizations that can benefit from Kind’s telehealth psychiatric services. His people-first approach to partnership development reflects his understanding that successful healthcare relationships are built on trust, shared values, and a commitment to improving access to care, making him an integral part of Kind Health’s mission to expand quality mental health care accessibility.
